SSI One Reward Recognition Scheme – Frequently Asked Questions

This information sheet has been created to provide you with answers to some of the questions that are frequently asked about the One Reward Recognition scheme. 1. What is One Reward Recognition?

Being a part of SSI UK is about more than just receiving a salary, we want this to be a great place to work for everyone. ‘One Reward Recognition’ is our very own rewards website where you can redeem your Service Award points for a huge selection of exciting items or experiences – so whether you want to take a Ferrari for a spin around Silverstone, get your hands on the latest must have gadget or treat yourself to some well-deserved retail therapy – you'll find the reward for you!

2. How do I log in to the One Reward Recognition website?

If you choose One Reward Recognition points for your Service Award you will be sent a welcome letter which contains your unique username and password for your account.

3. How do I redeem my One Reward Recognition points?

Think of the site as a big shop. Just add your chosen reward to the basket, go to the checkout and purchase using your points. Your chosen reward will soon be sent to you for your enjoyment.

To access the shop simply log into the www.peoplevalue.co.uk/onereward-recognition website. The site will guide you through the order process step by step. Should you have an issue ordering your reward or if you would rather order over the phone, you can call the help line on 0870 908 0088.

You can choose to exchange your points for rewards as soon as you are awarded them, or you can save them up and use them later in the year - the choice is yours.

4. I would like to spend my One Reward Recognition points on a holiday, which holiday company can I use?

The site has a few different options for you to consider when spending your points on a holiday.

A. Book a personalised holiday to suite your exact requirements with our concierge travel agent service.

This option is just like going into a travel agent and asking for a holiday price.

Once your holiday and price has been confirmed, the value of the holiday will be debited from the points available on your One Reward account to pay our appointed travel agent on your behalf. If you have insufficient points in your account to pay for the total cost of your holiday, you will have to top up with a payment card or change your holiday choice to suit.

Contact details for the ‘Rewards Travel Club’ can be found under the ‘Holidays & Leisure’ menu when you have logged in.

B. Choose one or our “pre-packaged” days out, short breaks or holidays.

Simply browse the reward catalogue to see the range of packaged days out, short breaks or holidays and make your choice. There are lots of fantastic locations to choose from including UK, European, USA and Canada plus exotic destinations such as Dubai, Phuket, Mauritius to name a few.

To order your rewards simply add to your basket and checkout following the on screen instructions.

C. Choose one or our Leisure & Travel Gift Vouchers.

Simply browse the reward catalogue to see the range of travel gift vouchers for you to choose from. Simply select the gift voucher or your choice to your basket, enter the value you want to order (available in £10 denominations) and checkout following the on screen instructions.

Brands available include Hastings Hotels, Haven Holidays, Hoseasons, Marriot, Park Resorts, Pontins, Premier Inn, Rennaissance Hotels & Resorts, Siblu Villages, SuperBreak, Thomas Cook, Warner Leisure Hotels and many more leisure options.

5. If choose a Gift Voucher how do I redeem them?

If you choose a Gift Voucher you will be sent either a retailer branded plastic gift card or a paper voucher which can be redeemed in store or online (if this feature is available for the retailer chosen) at the retailer of your choice.

The value of gift voucher sent to you will be as per the value you choose to add to the basket when checking out.

There are hundreds of high street retailers to choose from including ASDA, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Waitrose, Argos, B&Q, Currys PC World, John Lewis, Matalan, Homebase, Costa, National Garden Centres, Book and Theatre Tokens, Boots, Debenhams and Halfords to name a few.

6. Will the Gift Voucher hold the amount of money selected at checkout because the catalogue states in points not monetary value.

Yes, the gift vouchers are authentic high street retailer vouchers and will be for the value orders in pounds. For information one point equals one penny, so £10 is the equivalent of 10,00 points.

7. How do I purchase a Gift Voucher with my points?

To select a Gift Voucher as your reward choice you will need to login to the OneReward Recognition website at www.peoplevalue.co.uk/onereward using your username and password provided in your recognition letter.

To choose a voucher simply click on the ‘Gift Voucher’ menu tab and select the category of interest. Then click on the retailer you wish to spend at and then ‘add to basket’. You can then enter the quantity of vouchers you require then check out.

You will then be sent the gift vouchers for you to enjoy when shopping at the retailer.
